A. Hi parent Yes home steam can be used from safe distance. rub or balm can be used in small quantity with home steam Keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far overnight. This is good home remedy to get rid of cold. You may give her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the daytime ( don't wake her up though) Don't use RO water , take simply purified water having TDS higher than 350. Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
