#AskTheExpert Hi doctor. My son is 17 months old. Recently when I tested positive he also tested positive. How many days will it take to recover for him. from day 1 he is not having any symptoms. and we are using zincovit and we vitamin d syrups. Do we need to provide any extra medication for him. what about steam inhalation. Do I need to add any medicines in water for inhalation. please provide your inputs. thank you

Yes home steam can be used from safe distance.
rub or balm can be used in small quantity with home steam
Keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far overnight.
This is good home remedy to get rid of cold.
You may give her a spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the daytime ( don't wake her up though)
Don't use RO water , take simply purified water having TDS higher than 350.
Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
