#asktheexpert Hi doctor my son has a fever every 4 I am giving him medicine but his fever is not coming down and I am giving him cough syrup he has a heavy dry cough I am scared I already saw the doctor yesterday but still now there is no improvement please help

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. give pcm as per prescribed dose and at proper adviced time interval .
For any fever paracetamol is fine..after giving paracetamol wait for 30mins to 1 hour...if fever does not subside you can give tepid sponging to bring down the temperature if fever ..Always use room temperature water/tap water, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
