#asktheexpert Hi doctor my son has a fever every 4 I am giving him medicine but his fever is not coming down and I am giving him cough syrup he has a heavy dry cough I am scared I already saw the doctor yesterday but still now there is no improvement please help

A. give pcm as per prescribed dose and at proper adviced time interval . For any fever paracetamol is fine..after giving paracetamol wait for 30mins to 1 hour...if fever does not subside you can give tepid sponging to bring down the temperature if fever ..Always use room temperature water/tap water, it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
