Q.

#AskTheExpert hi Doctor, My son about to complete 7 months, we are feeding him 3 times formulated milk, and other 3 times with uggu, apple and sweet potato in puree form. 1) can we give them cow/buffalo packet milk 2) can we give them cooked rice? and in which form?

A. 1) no animal milk before 1 year. 2) make it's porridge, use in khichdi, cerelac. You can give Daal Khichdi with adding variety of veggies like Spinach, potatoes, beans, carrot, pumpkin. Give Ragi , makkhana, rice, suji porridge, suji kheer, oats. Give fruits like peach, pear, apple, avcado, banana in pureed form or mashed form. Give wheat Dalia adding veggies.
