#asktheexpert HI doctor. my daughter, who is 2 years 11 months old, has a constant cough in early morning or night. she is not sick and has no any other symptoms. She has no cough for the entire day. it's only in the morning or night. plz help. Why does it happen.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seaiisonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment is given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
