Madam It is a variety of hibiscus plant so I am not very sure about exactly what it is but I can tell you if it is healthy to be eaten after the age of one year because after one year mostly there is no restriction on any kind of food to the child so you can more certainly give it there is no issue otherwise you can just discuss it with your local paediatrician ones
