Q.

#asktheexpert hi doctor ! my. daughter is 5 yrx old .she is having a cough alot . I give her syrup medicine all the things that doctor suggest me but not fully relief .Plz suggest something that give relief in her cough ..

A. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection ozr both. along with cough and cold medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the cough and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . you can give homez remedies like to see honey ginger and turmeric with milk.

A. For home remedy I would advise you to give ginger juice and honey mixture three times in the day with a pinch of black pepper and Tulsi into that along with that it could be an allergic reaction also so it’s better to get tested for an allergy also
