#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, My daughter is 10 yrs old and I am worried that she is not gaining much weight though she is very active kid. she prefers veg and cannot each good amount of meal in one time. please suggest some weight gaining food combinations in vegetarian category.

A. Hello! Give your daughter calorie and nutrient dense foods so even if she eats small quantities, she will get maximum nutrition out of it. Try recipes like - peanut butter sandwich, banana milkshake, hummus with veggies, aloo cheese paratha, paneer pulao, fruit lassi, cheese toast, dal pakoda, sprout uttapam+ sambhar, dry fruit ladoo. Hope this helps!

A. You can banana, avocado, potatoes, sweet potatoes, peas, Give milk frequently. Give dals, pulses, dairy products like panner, curd, eggs and nuts or nuts powder mixed Ith milk every day. Gvie it regularly or everyday as all are eheakthy.
