#AskTheExpert hi doctor my baby of 1 year 1 month old having following symptoms 1) constipation from 2 days 2) fever from today around 101 we have given her mextra p syrup drop for fever. wearing light cotton cloths. what other things we should do.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. it s ok know that constipation in children is quite common and can be corrected by diet changes . Give plenty of water and other fluids like buttermilk juice to baby . Include fibre rich food items like fruits papaya , banana and green leafy vegetables spinach, carrot in baby diet . Can use glycerine suppository for immediate relief from hard stools .
