#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, my baby is not taking breast feed . she is 20 days old .. kindly suggest me how much u will give formula milk

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. Hello dear parent! It is advisable to exclusively breastfeed your baby in demand. Consult a lactation expert for advice. For further advice on formula milk please consult your child’s doctor for advice. Good luck and take care. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug daily massage oil.
