#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, my baby is drinking breast milk but not directly through my breast . I am expressing the milk and then feeding my baby through bottle. my baby cries a lot while directly putting her on breast. so it ok if breastmilk is fed but through bottle and not Directly through breast

A. it is not advisable to give bottle feeding to the child because in the long run it can lead to infections as well as can cause problems in the the tooth eruption of the child. it is advisable that yodu should go for either katori spoon feeding and later on with the help of a small baby glass feeding or sipper feeding.

A. hi it is better to give direct breastfeeding only so I would suggest to try different feeding positions. maintain skin to skin Contact while feeding your child which definitely help to encourage your child to take it directly.
