#asktheexpert hi Doctor, my baby is around 40 days old. when she was born she was around 3.1 kgs now she is 3.5 kgs, it looks like very small increase in baby weight. is this normal? I'm giving her both breast and formula milk, she drinks around 60 ml per feeding. pls advise

NikithaMom of 2 children1 Year agoA. hello yes it is normal and absolutely nothing to worry and in the first month you cannot expect much weight gain and the baby weight will reduce first and then it will start increasing and any concern then it would be better to check with your doctor
