#AskTheExpert hi doctor...my baby is 1year...he had cough n cold 1month before ..n it took 3wks to recover. ...he was 10kg before ..n it was reduced to 9.2 wen he was not well....now even after recovering from all that he is not gainng wt...whenever I check wt it is still the same...wat may be reason...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. if there is cough therefore cough is a protective mechanism of body which may be due to infection or allergy . it needs proper assessment before giving any medicine presently steam inhalation can be given it will be beneficial
