#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, My baby had 3.38kg birth weight. Now he is 8 months old, and his weight is 8.5. Since 2 months, he is not gaining weight.. Yesterday, I could see his weight is reduced by 200gm. Is this to be worried about?

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. As long as they're meeting developmental milestones, are alert and active, and are feeding well, you likely don't need to worry. Consistent growth — not exponential growth — is the key to baby's well-being.
