Q.

#AskTheExpert hi doctor, my baby girl is 2 years old. during her birth she didnt cry immediately after birth. it was foreceps assisted delivery. she was in nlcu for 5 days. at 3rd day she get convulsion and her hb was decreasing. blood transfusion was done at 5th day. now she is doing well. please clarify the reason for blood transfusion. and in future is there possibility for convulsions again

A. Was any diagnosis given at birth as to why the convulsions came? There could be multiple reasons for Caesars and if we know the proper diagnosis then we can tell if it is possible to get it in the future or not. A. there may be. low hemoglobin is cause. see more you can ask your own treating doctor. i am sure they will solve all your doubts and guide youyou can show the baby to a pediatric doctor who will check and find the right diagnosis and treat well
