#asktheexpert Hi doctor. My baby getting hiccups after 1 or 2 hours of feeding not immediately after feeding . Generally hiccups will get after feeding so we do burping from 1 month old after that we haven't experienced it from past 2 month . Now it coming regularly and she active baby. Could please tell us the reason and treatment for it

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist8 months agoA. It is absolutely normal dear parent for the baby to get hiccups multiple times a day and in no relation to feeding. So no need to worry . Feed the baby when there are hiccups
