#AskTheExpert hi doctor, I had a question on usage of calpol. my daughter is 8 months and had fever with temp ranging 100-99degree F. when should I stop giving calpol? as I noticed a peak in temp whenever I stopped giving it.

A. also give meftal p to your child for fever other than and further you can consult your doctor for more guidance so that doctor can give you proper suggestions about it and accordingly you can follow and strictly maintain good hygiene . . . . . . .

Q. my 3 yrs daughter has got fever and cold from yest afternoon...i have given medicines as follow 1) Friday 3.30 pm- calpol 250 at 100 temp 2) Friday 9.30 pm - calpol 250 at 100.5 temp 3) Friday midnight at 12.40 am- ibugesic at 100 temp( fever didn't came down with calpol) 4) saturday early mrng 7.30 am- calpol 250 at 100 temp 5) saturday mrng 10.30 am- ibugesic at 101.5 temp as fever didn't came down from calpol 6) saturday afternoon 2.30 pm - calpol 250 at 100 temp 7) saturday eve 5 pm - ibugesic at 100.5 as temp didn't came down from calpol 8) saturday eve 7.40 pm - calpol 250 at 100 temp I even visited her pediatrician and he said continue same and no need for antibiotic or change of med...i m just worried bcoz her fever has not come down from 99 since yest night...n such has never happened that ibugesic is also not working
