#AskTheExpert hi doctor, I got my periods very next month after delivery. I. e I dilevered on April 17 th and got my first periods on may 24 th, and didn't get periods in June and I got periods today. am. bot worried is it normal. this was my first delivery

A. sometimes it is quite normal to get periods like this since you are a lactating mother and that can be sometimes lactation amenorrhea which may be having this type of effect no need to worry this is because of hormonal imbalance

A. good evening yes it is absolutely find nothing to worry about it is quite common to have these irregularities because of hormonal changes in the body as well as because of lactation it will become normal when you stop feeding the child
