#AskTheExpert Hi doctor. I birth child 4th nov 2022 and still my period is continues. Is there ok or any problem ?

A. six weeks of postpartum bleeding is common for further advice in this regard you better consult your doctor for physical examination investigations if required then only proper treatment can be given and advise also in this regard

A. You might have some bleeding for up to 6 weeks. Check with your doctor, nurse or midwife if the bleeding gets heavier rather than lighter, you have a sudden heavy blood loss or large clots after the first few days, the blood smells bad, your uterus feels tender or sore, or you're still bleeding after 6 weeks.
