Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi doctor, I am in my 24th week now and the baby and I are doing well. Had 3 scans so far, the dating and heart beat scan, NT scan and anomaly scan. The reports have been good so far, except on the NT scan I was told that I have high blood pressure on my uterine wall for which I am taking Aspirin 75mg. When do I stop this and is it necessary for me take fetal echo scan or can I skip to the growth scan? And I had taken my first dose of TT during 12 weeks, when is the right time to take the second dose?

A. The second dose of TT should be taken after one month of completion of first one and you can inform your doctor and she will get it done. Yes aspirin medication is compulsory and if required antihypertensives should also be started until you deliverWrite Your Answer Here
