#AskTheExpert hi doctor I am breastfeeding mother for 1year 3months old boy. I am trying to wean off as i am carrying. but my son is not taking food properly and reluctant to take outside milk. pls advice how do I wean off and meanwhile how to increase milk flow as i see it has drastically reduced. Thanks

A. Hi mommy If you wean then don’t try to increase milk Gradually stop feeding at day then at night Give different varieties of food like fruits vegetable pulses whole grains milk products in different shape colours patterns to make meal more interesting give three meal and two snacks children are fussy eater at this age its all normal and common you can give food in puree liquid form or give some juice soup milkshake etc
