#AskTheExpert hi doctor, good morning I'm mom of 5months old, now am not feeding him in night times. I will feed only if he wakes up by himself. is that okay even if there is 6 or 7hrs gap? sometimes he will sleep for 6 or 7 hours in one stretch.

A. hi mom yes is fine let the baby sleep exclusive breastfeeding till 6 months of age is recommend post 6 months continue breastfeeding and give home based kitchen feeds
