Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi Doctor, am breast feeding my baby morning and night two times a day only as I am supposed to join work back. we have started giving her nan pro 1. How many times a day and at what quantity should i feed her. She is 4 months baby and weighs 5.2 kg

A. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk. if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in. more quantity with intermittent burping . there is no need to to go for hourly feeding pattern. also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits

A. hi mam, as mother's milk is best for a child instead of giving formula ,I would suggest to use any good brand breastpump like Babyhug breastpump for this. so a child can get breastmilk even you are not there with your child. but if you want to offer formula ,I would suggest to consult your pediatrician as he or she can prescribe it as per your child Health,age and weight.
