A. In younger newborns and up to 2-3 months old, your baby should breastfeed on-demand, which usually means every 2-3 hours. If you are pumping, breastmilk bottles vary in size from 3 to 6 ounces, usually, with 4 ounces being the average size once a baby is at least 3-4 months old.
