#AskTheExpert Hi doc, Why are we supposed to give vit D and iron supplements to babies starting from infant? Is that really required? because babies get most of the nutrition from breast milk still why are supplements needed? Thank you.

A. Yes they are required to be given till one year of age as this is the age of development so it needs to be given to the baby and daily expose baby to direct sunlight 30 mins a day
