#AskTheExpert: HI Doc; my daughter is a 7 months preemie. now 5 months 3 weeks. Her weight gain is extremely slow. what should I do so that her weight increases?

A. I do that, but she refuses that. she pushes the bottle with her hand and tongue. she takes only little and then refuses to take. she is only taking 30mL of FM. If I force feed her she vomits

A. U Can give formula feeding to the child if you want to because since you are saying that your child is gaining weight slow that means your breast feed is not sufficient for the child for healthy weight gain so you should start giving formula feeding along with breastfeeding to the child
