#AskTheExpert hi doc, I'm a mother of 1 year and 5 month baby girl. can you tell me the dosage of albendazole oral suspension for my daughter. I have a suspension with the dose of 200mg / 5 ml

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. please do not self medicate but Deworming medicine is to be given after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but please give this medicine only after medical advice.

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good afternoon I would not recommend you to use any medication on your own like that you must try to visit your pediatrician and then use medicine as prescribed to make sure there is absolutely no issue
