Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. No. You can either dream feed the baby while he is asleep or wake the baby and feed in between. 6 hours will be very long gap for new born babies. They will need feed atleast once in every 2 or maximum three hours. Your baby should be peeing anywhere between six to ten times a day which means the baby is taking feeds properly. Also there should be a gradual weight gain. Keep a check on these factors.
