#asktheexpert . hi am lamya , actually mam my nephew is having like chicken pox and fever it has been 2 days.. we had consulted to our family doctor too. and he is 3 years old and now he is well fever has gone but the poxs are still remains a bit in his hands. may I know still how much time required to cure it completely and do we need to follow the medicine which our doctor has given. thank you.

A. It takes time to completely cure around two weeks time or sometimes even more so don’t worry just taur care of few things maintain good hygiene and avoid itching or scratching the skin take care

A. It mostly takes about week to 10 days to subside completely and maybe little more depending upon person to person so if the fever is not there then that is a good thing but apart from that you should continue with the medications as of now and try to give a bath to the child with boiled water which in which you can put some neem leave all that water let it cool to room temperature and then you give a bath to the childWrite Your Answer Here
