Q.

#AskTheExpert Hi adocyor, my son born on 9th June 2021 in normal delivery, still keeping gis legs folded while sleeping and in general. He stretches them only occasionally. is it normal? how long would it normally take infants to keep their legs straight while sleeping?

A. yes almost a month.See it looks ok only.but if you doubt then for your satisfaction show to a doctor there as they can examine the patient and give even a better opinion in this case .

A. This is perfectly normal. His limbs will uncurl gradually as he gets used to being outside your womb (uterus). If your baby was in a breech position at birth, it may take him a little longer to stretch out. This is because his feet were up by his ears, so it may be a few days before he's ready to straighten his legs.
