#asktheexpert hey doctor. my baby is 5 months old. earlier during 4 months he was 7 kg weight but in the last one month his weight increase is only 300 gms. Is it okay or its slow rate of increase. his birth weight was 3 kg. I am quite tensed.

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 Year agoA. Namaste Mom, Monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight, you could introduce him to weaning foods now
