POOJA GOSWAMIMom of a 10 yr 6 m old girl3 years agoA. If you need to express breastmilk due to unavoidable reasons, you can do so, but it might reduce the supply. When baby latches, it stimulates the hormones and keeps the flow good. But, you can pump it regularly and keep it in refrigerator for upto 24 hours. And when you want to feed it, take it out sone time before or warm it up with double boiling method.
