#AskTheExpert Hello Sir My son is 6 years and have fever with stomach pain. in ultrasound Mesenteric lymphadenitis showing. is this serious or how long it will took to get fit. I am attaching ultrasound report.

A. Stomach pain in children is a common complaint seen frequently. There could be many reasons for this .it can be functional or due to some pathology which needs to be ruled out. Commonhi causes are constipation gaseous discomfort worm infestation gastritis gastroenteritis or some chronic infection . Syp cyclopam 5 ml can be given sos for stomach pain and consult your doctor for proper examintation to rule out the cause .
