#AskTheExpert Hello Sir, My son (3 Years 7 months) coughing continuesly since morning. Could you please prescribe any syrup to reduce cough. Thanks in advance!

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. it appears to be allergic cough/cold. they can be associated with temperature variations around the body (hot to cold or cold to hot environmental changes) whicgh the body cannot sustain leading to cough usually at evening /night and morning. requires examination and start anti allergic medicines. meet dr and prevent such temperature variations. there isc a possibility of starting anti allergic medicines for at least one month and the doctor will decide if the child needs inhaler therapy or nebulization.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr 2 m old girl3 years agoA. WYou can go for cherry cough 3.5 ML twice a day for three days the spelling may differ but this is a good medicine for coughing issues for kids so you can go for that for a minimum three days rest to consult your doctor ones
