#AskTheExpert hello sir! my baby is now 9.5 months old. he doesn't gain weight from the past 3 months his weight is now 7.3kg..he eats well as well.. any suggestions pls..

A. You can give banana, potatoes, sweet potatoes and continue feeding breastmilk or formula. You can add homemade ghee in babys regular meals. You can also give warm rice mixed with curd around eight months. All these could help weight gain. Skinny look may be due to genetic reasons. If father or mother was skinny during their childhood then she could also be getting the same physique. So as long as the baby is taking feeds and eating properly, poops and pees regularly and is active and healthy you need not worry much about the weight.
