#AskTheExpert hello sir my baby is 2month 25 days old he is pooping green colour since 5days and suffering from cold cough what should I do please suggest me

Hello, it's observed formula milk give stool yellow colour, green colour Is nothing to worry as its an indication that the baby is getting sufficient breast milk, may be before the breast milk was not secreted in adequate amount, and baby was not getting full. it take around 1-2 months for proper supply of breast milk especially if mother has delivered by Caesarian, it's nothing related to cold or cough. Its good way to analyse that baby is being fed well with breastmilk. Don't worry. But you can consult a doctor in case of doubt.

If you giving any formula feeding to the child and it is completely normal for a child to have green in colour but if it is green in colour in general and if it is a loose motion than that could be due to stomach infection as well need to be much sure about it after getting a check with the doctor
