#asktheexpert hello sir my baby is 2 yrs old he goes to motion more than 3 times a day almost after every meal and he doesn't want to sleep at all even if we try it takes 1- 1/2 HR to make him sleep in the afternoon and also at night . what should I do

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. if the consistency of the stool is normal that is semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency of the stool.
the frequency can vary for 4 to 5 times per day and sometimes the child will not pass stool for few days also.
also do no worry xabout colour and smell of the stool when stool consistency is semisolid to solid.
you have to meet the dr only if it is totally watery stool or it is hard stool or the child is having pain while passing the stool.
