Hello sir ..my baby boy is 6 months 4 weeks old....he got terribly constipated since the time i started. giving him semi solids ..doc has prescribed soy formula .i am feeding him apple or papaye puree along with nestum rice daily ..past two days he hasn't pooped...and straining a lot to pass the stool ...i am using myo peptine syrup 2.5 ml twice a day along with ostilooz sloution 5 ml twice a day....but still he is unable to poop...what shall I do?

First of all start giving him one overnight soaked fig along with its water in which it is soaked and during day prune or prune juice can ge given pear papaya and add spinach in khichdi or nestum or it’s oteee can be fed and apply little castor oil around anus or coconut oil

Hello dear parent! If the problem is persistent even after medication then it needs further medical evaluation. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments. Increase the liquid intake. Continue breastfeeding. Keep Babyhug tummy roll on handy. Good luck and take care.
