#AskTheExpert Hello sir, my 3yo son was having loose motions and vomitting last week he complained about stomach pain also.. doc gave him antibiotic and zinc syrup and also had his stool test done in which everything was normal. Now since last 2 days he is not having watery poop but before passing stool he still complains about stomach pain and sometimes its too much to handle. Today he vomitted also while complaining of stomach pain.. I gave him antibiotic given by doc as nothing was working.

the other option is soya milk but many times the child will not like the taste and the second option would be that you have to dilute the milk that is 1 part milk and 4 parts water.

in loose motion and vomiting whenever you are giving any type of milk except breast milk or any type of food which is containing milk then it will not be properly digested and the medicines will not have proper effect that's why doctors many time ask to stop milk for the child or dilute it

many times after loose motion there is injury present in the gastrointestinal tract for which you have to continue zinc and only simple diet has to be given but if the child is having vomiting then you have to rule out persistence of infection in your child so better to meet your doctor before starting antibiotics.
kindly give ORS for every episode of loose motion and give simple diet made from rice dal and khichdi curd buttermilk apple banana and the natural probiotics from the curd will help in decreasing the loose motion and if it is not improving in one or two days then kindly meet your doctor.
also you cannot give outside milk to the child and you cannot give cerelac also but you can continue to give breastfeeding if going on for next few days

Kindly opt for it. 
Please don't give her any external milk.
You may give her breast milk
Give her curd buttermilk more
Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered
Give her very easy to digest food only

Thnx sir.. he is not on brestfeed, i give him amul pkt milk 2 times a day. can I give him nan pro instead of that as he will not sleep without drinking milk.
