Q.

#asktheexpert hello sir/madam My child has just started his school (nursery). As per the teacher’s saying he’s performing well n actively participates in each activity. But the problem is when he comes back home, he never tells me what happened in the school. Whenever I ask him, he only has a saying,”I don’t know.” And I never get to know about the work done in the class. Please help.

A. If you child is more introverted, they may need time to be quiet, time alone or time to process what you're asking. If your child is more extroverted, they may need more time to talk. You're judgmental: Your child may not talk to you because they are afraid of your response.
