#asktheexpert Hello sir/ madam my baby is 14 months old and suffering from severe constipation from last 10 months. he urges to pass stool everyday but he keep on exerting pressure to poop but he is unable to pass...and he passes stool after 2-3 days and took 15-20 min to pass. everytime he passes hard stool. he don't allow me to insert glycerine suppostery plz suggest some medications

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is quite natural that some babies may be having stubborn constipation which may continue upto 3 to 4 years of age you had to you all seasonal fruits adequate water and occasionally dulcolax suppository to the baby
