#AskTheExpert Hello Sir/Ma'am, My Daughter is 2 months and 10 days old. She has been coughing and sneezing from 2-3 days. Also she's crying excessively. Please suggest what to do?

Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a prophuer evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fevefr is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Ur baby is crying of colic pain or gas in stomach. Apply mamaearth tummy roll on or give colic aid or gastica drops to ur baby. This will help to expel gas from stomach secondly Give indirect steam to ur baby two three times a day or apply warm mustard oil with pinch of rock salt on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
