#AskTheExpert hello sir, i am suffering from cough and cold and for cough i consumed benadryl...will there be any problem to my new born baby who is 3.5 months old

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines likge wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptohms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

A. No these medicines are very basic medicines for cold so I don’t think so it is absolutely an issue to be taken if your child is doing a sign of discomfort or uneasiness with the medication that you have given or you have taken when it is completely alrightWrite Your Answer Here
