#AskTheExpert hello! My son is 7 months old and have a bad runny nose. He is a bit lethargic and not eating properly. I am giving him Solvin cold 2 times a day. Kindly help.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .kgg
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Continue with the medicine prescribed by the doctor. it will be fine.
Also give steam inhalation two three times a day and apply babyhug rapid relief roll on or vicks babyrub on the chest and feet of the baby to get relief from cough and cold
