Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello. My daughter is 5 months and 12 days old. Up till recently I was exclusively breastfeeding her, however, I have started giving her formula feed since 2 days because I felt my milk wasn't enough for her. she was getting cranky and crying all the time. But since I've started giving her formula feed once a day, her poop has changed its color from yellow to dark green. Is that normal?

A. It’s change as formula milk lead to green stool so nothing to worry and if the consistency of the stool is normal then it’s fine and once baby completes six months start semi solid foods and liquids

A. hi yes it is normal. but please stick to breastfeeding only there is no need of formula or external milk. offer plenty of feeds because the more your child latches, the more milk is produced. you can take leptadin tablet or shatavary granular with warm milk to increase your breastmilk supply.
