#AskTheExpert Hello, My daughter is 45 days old. 1) she cries a lot at night. What can be the reason and how to understand the reason. 2) she cries while doing potty or farting. 3) mostly she cries without tears and sometimes with tears is it normal? 4) I have slight pain in my throat will it affect my baby? Home remedies for the same please.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Colic in babies may be considered when baby is crying for more than 2 to 3 hours with no other specific reason and in a high pitched cry with arching of the body and flushed face.
There could be many causes for colic in babies like gerd immature digestive system allergies ingulping of aur while feeding and lactose intolerance.
Mothers diet and lifestyle can also be a major factor.
Management could be in form of medicines like probiotics dhuigestive enzymes antiflatulence and some home remedies.
Avoidantce of formula milk cow's milk . Cycling manuvours to relieve gas massage and proper burping after each feeding is also helpful .
