Q.

#AskTheExpert hello my daughter is 3 yr and 1 month old..she has an allergy due to cow milk..our doctor advised her to take both milk and curd only 200ml on daily basis..till when we should maintain this limit..she luvs milk and milk products can i increase the quantity??

A. You can switch to Buffalo milk or if baby is lactose allergic so kindly tell and curd can be given more but not milk and you can make almond milk at home and buyer milk can be tried as well

A. To help your child deal with lactose intolerance: Buy lactose-reduced or lactose-free milk and calcium-fortified juices. Remind your child to take a lactase enzyme supplement (such as Lactaid) right before eating dairy products. These come as drops or tablets that can even be added to milk.
