#asktheexpert hello my daughter is 2 months 23 days old and today she got vaccinated 10 week dose she got on left thigh it became red and there is swelling also she is crying a lot what to do plz suggest something so that she can get relief in her pain

A. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can alsox apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues bxeyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

A. Hello mom Sometimes it can take around one month to carefully so you should not worry about it at all. But if there is any sort of discharge from it then in such case you should definitely consult with your paediatrician about it because your doctor can only advise you well after examining baby
