Q.

#asktheexpert Hello, my child is 2 months old.she has an unusual left eyelid not opening properly which is called ptosis .one of the pediatricians referred to you to consult.do we have the treatment for this or by growing age does this slowly cure by itself.

A. it is due to the weakness in the eyelid muscles so it should improve with increasing age of the child and not treatment is given as of now and you should just concentrate on proper diet and after a particular age that is usually after 2 or 3 years of age if the problem doesn't improve then only some intervention will be required
