#AskTheExpert Hello, My baby is 6 months old. She got stomach infection so she was passing stool frequently. Although now she is fine but due to excessive water loss she has become very weak. What can I give her to eat or drink to build her strength now?

A. Hi, exclusively breastfeed which is best for baby. Once baby complete six month you can start with semisolid food like porridge, purée, dal water, water. Since Baby had motions it is good to exclusively breastfeed. Take adequate liquid and have a healthy fibre and calcium rich food.Write Your Answer Here
