Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello.....my baby girl is 4 months and 10 days old....she's completely dependent on formula milk (Lactodex) since birth.......her birth weight was 2.7 kg and her present weight is 7 .1 kg....is her weight gain normal or shall I  stop giving lactodex and switch to some other starter formula.......please suggest what should I do?

A. By five months of age of the baby show double the birth weight and according to that the weight gain is a bit more which happens with the formula. You better consult a pediatrician so that they can examine the baby and they will tell if further evaluation is required or not and you need to change the formula or notWrite Your Answer Here

A. Hi mommy Give BM or formula milk Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes Do tummy time and cycyling movement of legs regularly
